Who We Are
My name is Mike Faulkner and I’ve spent the last 20 years in the fitness industry coaching and training clients. I’m certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (CPT/PES/CES). As a former collegiate athlete, I’ve spent countless hours helping shape my own body to peak performance. I’ve also successfully lost over 80 pounds in my own fitness journey and have been able to maintain that for over 20 years. I’ve started Running for Recovery after the loss of a close friend as a healthy outlet to process my emotions and find piece of mind. I began running everyday to help me through that difficult time. I want to use my experience on how fitness changed my life with others and inspire them to do the same. It all starts with your belief that we can achieve anything with the right mindset.
